Winters Friends of the Library is gearing up for the 81st annual Youth Day celebration, on Saturday, April 29th. In addition to our lively “Novelty Marching Unit,” that will be marching in the the parade, WFoL will once again be hosting our annual Free Book Giveaway at our booth in the park.
This year’s Youth Day theme is, Dare to Dream:2017, and we are dreaming of a new stage! We are excited to be Partnering with Project Playground to raise funds for the stage area of the new playground.
As part of this effort, we are dedicating the funds raised through Big Day of Giving, May 4th 2017, to sponsor the building of the stage. This year folks will be able to schedule their donations ahead of time, making it even easier to support us on Big Day of Giving.Click here to find out more.
