Your membership dues help expand library services and promote literacy and lifelong learning in our community.
Join or renew your annual Winters Friends of the Library membership for 2021 now. Thank you!
Despite the hardship that our community has endured this year, WFoL continues to support library services and promote literacy and lifelong learning for our town. We need our library now more than ever! Thank you for your past support, and please consider renewing at a higher level this year if you are able given that our Winters Library is facing uncertain budget cuts ahead.
WHAT YOUR CONTRIBUTION SUPPORTS
So far in 2020, WFoL has contributed over $41,000 to the library, including funds for the purchase of books, eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines, and board games. We continue to give away hundreds of children’s books through the Books for Babies program, sponsor the Summer Reading program for adults and youth and the very popular virtual ESL classes. We support cultural and educational programs, such as Winters Shakespeare Workshop’s virtual youth performance, A Comedy with Errors. We maintain Little Free Libraries around town and give away books to students at Waggoner Elementary School. This year also marks the start of the Library Learning Garden expansion, in partnership with the Yolo County Master Gardeners.

These wonderful community businesses have extended generous discounts to WFoL members to encourage us all to support the library. Yet, as we all know, most businesses are suffering during this very difficult time, and we have already lost several beloved local establishments. As times improve, look for more member benefits to come in the future. We’ll keep you posted. Visit wfol.org for details.
We extend our sincere thanks to Anytime Fitness, Farmer’s Closet, Florals by Chris, Pacific Ace Hardware, Patio 29, Turkovich Family Winery, and Winters Barber Shop for partnering with WFoL for 2021.

Our library provides free access to books, resources, information, the internet, and a place to gather and connect with other lifelong learners. The support Winters Friends of the Library provide enhances all the library services and programs for our community.
