This year the festival will be held on Saturday Dec. 7, 2019 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Winters Community Center at 201 Railroad Avenue.
The annual Winters Friends of the Library (WFoL) Family Holiday Festival is filled with fun for the whole family on the first Saturday in December. You’ll find music, crafts to make and buy, visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, wreaths, and gently used adult and children’s books for sale.

Over the course of the day more than 400 community members enjoy the festivities and are introduced to our Winters Friends of the Library programs.

As a gift to the community and other non-profit organizations, we collaborate with participating non-profit organizations that sell handmade items and keep the proceeds for their own programs.
In the Fall of 2014, thanks to WFoL and the Margaret Parsons Fund, 30 preschoolers and 4o elementary students at 4 sites in Winters, had weekly singing sessions with musician and music educator, Katie Henry. The culmination of these singing workshops was a family sing as part of the WFoL Family Holiday Festival in the first week of December.
