Thursday, May 9, 7:00 pm, Winters Community Library
Enjoy an evening of lively music and conversation with Dick Holdstock! A musician, music historian, and activist, he has recorded and performed traditional Scottish and English folk music since the 1970s.
Dick and his editor Patience Young will discuss his book, Again With One Voice: British Songs of Political Reform, 1768 to 1868, and sing songs of the period that illuminate the struggles of working people and their determination to bring about change.
Admission to the event is free; donations will be gratefully accepted at the door. Copies of the book will be available for sale. For more information, visit dickholdstock.com.
