Tidy up your home and promote literacy in Winters. The books you and your kids have outgrown are needed now!
Marie Kondo says, “Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to spark the joy of reading in our young neighbors.” No, she didn’t really say that, but it is true nonetheless.
We especially need:
- sturdy books for babies and toddlers
- books for emerging readers, levels 1, 2, 3
- easy chapter books such as Magic Tree House, 13 Clues, A-Z Mysteries
- series such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Series of Unfortunate Events, Wimpy Kid
- Spanish and bilingual books for all levels of readers
- Nonfiction for all reading levels
Please leave boxes of books in the Book Sale Room or drop your donation in the exterior donations book drop box.
Winters Friends of the Library puts these donated books to work to spread literacy in our community. They may be used for our Little Free Libraries, for book giveaways, and for book sales at the library and events.
