Come to the WFoL Family Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 1st from 10 to 2 PM in the Winters Community Center. There will be children singing, holiday books to purchase, holiday crafts to make, delicious soup and cookies, children dancing, and, of course, Santa.
The Family Holiday Festival opens at 10 AM when children’s musician, Elodie Perroud with John Mahoney on piano, will present a special concert for preschoolers and their families. Minds in Motion Dance, a Winters dance studio located at 2nd and Main Streets, will perform at 11AM, followed by singing classes from Waggoner and Rominger schools.
Families can roll beeswax candles, make reindeer handprints, hammer out tin trivets, and build glittering ornaments. Mrs. Claus’ Cafe offers delicious homemade soup, sandwiches and cookies to purchase for lunch.
Winters FFA will be selling beautiful wreaths, and the Fortnightly Club will bring an assortment of hand crafted items for sale. There will be premium lightly used holiday books to purchase for children and for adults.
Best of all, Santa will be sitting under a tree of books, to hear holiday wishes, and have his picture taken.
Winters families and friends are invited to come and spend the day, celebrating the season in support of our community and our library.
