• September is Literacy and Library Card Sign-Up Month. Explore new worlds. Come sign up for a card and check out all we have to offer, from books to DVDs to special programs and much more! Click here for more details.
• September 5: Python Ron’s Reptile Kingdom, 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a hands-on learning experience with awesome reptiles. A fun program for the whole family.
• September 15 to October 15: Latinx Heritage Month. Learn about the histories, cultures and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America with our bibliography and display.
• September 23-28: Banned Books Week: Banning books silences stories. Read a banned book and come learn about banned books week with our book display.

• Needle Arts: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 4:00 p.m.
• Libros y Chisme: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
• Family Story Time: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
• Cursos de Ingles: Jueves a las 6:00 p.m.
• Literary Trails: Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.
• Hora de Cuentas/Bi-lingual Story Time: Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by First 5 Yolo.
• Aguas Frescas: Last Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
• Lego Block Party: 2nd Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
• Family Movie: Last Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
NOTICE: All Yolo County Library branches will be closed September 3 for Labor Day. On September 17, the Winters Community Library will only be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. due to a staff professional development day.
