The following special programs will be held during the month of February at Yolo County’s Winters Community Library, located at 708 Railroad Avenue in Winters:
• February 1 – 14: Blind Date with a Book. Winters Community Library is sponsoring a “Book Blind Date.” It’s a no commitment, no drama relationship where your “dream date” could be a thriller, a historical fantasy, a mystery or a sci-fi epic. Specially wrapped books are located in the main reading room. Participants will be entered into a free drawing for a special gift.
• February 9: Seventh Annual Poetry Jam, 6:00 p.m. Listen to elementary and high school poets recite and interpret their own poems or favorite works in an exciting competition at the Winters Community Center (201 Railroad Avenue in Winters).
• February 9: Special Bi-lingual Story Time with the Winters Police Department, 6:30 p.m. Families are invited to come and listen to the Police Department read stories.
• February 22: Special Family Story Time with the Winters Police Department, 10:30 a.m. Come listen to the Police Department read stories and ask them questions.

• Tales for Tails: Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
• Needle Arts: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m.
• Family Story Time: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
• Literary Trails: Talk ‘n’ Walk Book Club: Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.
• Family Hui: Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.
• Hora de Cuentas/Bi-lingual Story Time: Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by First 5 Yolo.
• Family Movie: Last Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m. All movies are ‘Family Friendly’ (rated G or PG). Call the library for the title at (530) 795-4955.

NOTICE: The Winters Community Library will be open on February 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. due to a Professional Development Day at the Winters High School. Yolo County Library’s branches will be closed all day on February 20 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
