From the Yolo County Library Staff:
We are excited to share with our new 2016 school break hours for the Winters Community Library!
Last summer we tried opening earlier on Saturday mornings to see if that might be helpful to the community. While these tend to be popular hours at other library locations, usage and attendance data has been very low at Winters during these hours. So this year, based on community feedback over time, we plan on opening the library 6 days a week during school breaks.
We hope this will better help meet community needs. We will, of course, continue to review usage data and community feedback regarding school break hours at Winters to ensure we are meeting community needs to the best of our abilities.
School Break library hours will be as follows:
Monday: 10 am – 6 pm
Tuesday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 6 pm
Thursday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Friday: 1 pm – 5 pm (NEW!!!)
Saturday: 1 pm – 5 pm
As the hours are subject to approval by the LAAC, we will publicize them widely after the LAAC meeting on June 6th. Please share this information with the rest of WFOL. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me, Toni, Scott, Chris, or Patty.
We appreciate your partnership and support!
