Save Saturday, March 5 to do all of your tree shopping. The Winters Friends of the Library will be holding its annual fruit tree sale in Winters at the parking lot at Railroad Avenue and Baker Street from 9 am (members can enter at 8:30) until all the trees are sold, rain or shine.
Bare root fruit and nut trees are $10 each and citrus are $25 each. Proceeds benefit the programs and collections at the Winters Library.
Bring your current membership card or become a member the morning of the sale to gain early entry. Check back on the website near the end of February to see what varieties are available this year. For more information or to volunteer, call Jeff TenPas at 795-3617.
