How does the Winters Friends of the Library get things done and have fun? With volunteers, of course.
We have many opportunities for volunteering, by working shifts at one day events or contributing your talents on a team that helps our organization manage the ongoing programs and services we provide to the community.
Here are some upcoming volunteer opportunities to consider. We would love to work with you!

Communications Team
Our communications team is always looking for new members to share their skills and time so we can sustainable keep all systems running smoothly.
We can use additional hands to help us with publicity and marketing, social media, the website, the newsletter, creating graphics and spreading the word about our mission and events. Please email Lisa Nalbone at lisa@uncollege.org if you are interested in helping with communications.
Membership, Volunteer and Outreach Team
Do you love talking with people? Do you prefer working behind the scenes? No matter which you prefer, we have a spot for you if you would like to help grow our membership and our pool of volunteers. We are currently in the midst of our annual membership drive and are looking for people interested in working with Karla Knabke, our membership coordinator to build upon our new membership initiatives and reach out to our community. Please email her at jknabke@onramp113.org or call 530-795-2042.
Fundraising and Development Team
Would you like to help make sure that we have the funds to carry out our mission? The Big Day of Giving team is meeting on November 30 to plan our strategy for 2016. We also run book sales, a tree sale, and other projects to raise the funds that support our library, literacy and lifelong learning in our community. Please email voluntee@wfol.org and let us know you are interested.
