The sale will take place on Saturday, March 4 from 9 am until the trees are sold out, rain or shine, in the parking lot at Railroad Avenue and Edwards Street in downtown Winters.
WFoL members can enter early at 8:30 am. We’ll have a membership table at the entrance so you can join or renew on the spot, or save time and join HERE .
Shoppers will find bare-root fruit and nut trees for $20 each. There is a limit of ten trees per customer, and popular varieties sell out fast—come early for the best selection. This year we will have almonds, apples, apricots, blueberries, cherries, olives, nectarines, peaches, plums, prunes, and walnuts for sale. The trees are donated by Sierra Gold Nursery in Yuba City—we are grateful for their support!
The Master Gardeners of Yolo County will be at the sale to give advice on tree planting and pruning.
Your purchases will help expand the collections and programs of the Winters Library. It’s a great way to support literacy and lifelong learning in our community!
