The WFoL summer concert series continues with a free outdoor concert by Back Porchestra on Thursday, July 21, 7:00–8:30 p.m. at the Rotary Park Gazebo, on Main Street at Railroad Avenue, in front of the Community Center in Winters.
The Bay Area band plays original and vintage roots rock, Americana, Western swing, and country blues. Formed during the lockdown summer of 2020, the group features veteran musicians who were idled by the pandemic and got together for informal outdoor gigs, including Tim Eschliman (Etta James, Commander Cody, New Copasetics), Bowen Brown (John Lee Hooker, Tommy Castro, Rhythmtown-Jive), Candy Girard (Delaney Bramlet, Tanya Tucker, Clint Black, Jerry Garcia), and Beau Bradbury (California Honeydrops). You can learn more and get a preview of their music at backporchestra.com.
Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chairs or sit on the grass, sip a cool drink, and enjoy some fine live music!
