Winters Shakespeare Workshop presents a free outdoor performance of William Shakespeare’s comedy The Tempest, with music and dance, on Friday and Saturday, July 15 and 16, at 8 PM in Winters Community Park, at the corner of 4th and Main Streets.
This innovative production, directed by Gabe Fernandez, with musical direction by Nicolas Carvajal, is set in the 1980s. Look for mullets and frizzy perms, leg warmers and shoulder pads!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a fun evening of magic, shipwreck, monsters, romance, and revenge. There will be delicious refreshments for sale.
Winters Shakespeare Workshop is an annual summer youth program of Winters Friends of the Library, open to teens ages 13-19.
