If you are already a member, thank you for your past support, and please consider renewing at a higher level this year if you can given that our Winters Library is facing uncertain budget cuts ahead.
WHAT YOUR CONTRIBUTION SUPPORTS
So far in 2020, WFoL has contributed over $41,000 to the library, including funds for the purchase of books, eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines, and board games. We continue to give away hundreds of children’s books through the Books for Babies program, sponsor the Summer Reading program for adults and youth and the very popular virtual ESL classes. We support cultural and educational programs, such as Winters Shakespeare Workshop’s virtual youth performance, A Comedy with Errors.
We maintain Little Free Libraries around town and give away books to students at Waggoner Elementary School. This year also marks the start of the Library Learning Garden expansion, in partnership with the
Yolo County Master Gardeners. Wow!
