Arann Harris and the Bad Farmers will play a free outdoor concert on Thursday, July 30, 7:00–8:30 p.m. at the Rotary Park Gazebo, on Main Street at Railroad Avenue, in front of the Community Center in Winters.
Arann Harris and his band bring “one part Muppets, one part summer camp, and two parts American roots music, served on a bed of bacon grease and git-down.” His music is high-energy and highly entertaining. Described as a “cultivator of Americana soul”, Harris plays a mix of old-time blues, jazz, folk, mountain music, funk, and campfire songs unlike anything you’ve ever heard. For an added bonus, Winters’ own Keith Cary will be sitting in for the evening.
This is the last performance in the Winters Friends of the Library summer concert series for 2015.
Invite your friends and neighbors, bring a blanket or lawn chairs or sit on the grass, sip a cool drink, and enjoy some fine live music on a summer evening. The Friends of the Library will have delicious refreshments and quality used books for sale, and all proceeds will support the Winters Library.
For more information, contact Keith Cary at kcary@dcn.org or (530) 795-3173.
