Our library makes an investment in Winters’ youth providing easy computer access, after school study help and personal assistance in finding the right information. WFoL member Bianca Cox says she became a member because “I had a huge desire to get involved with the community, to make friends in a town that was new. I met Lisa Nalbone, long time WFoL member and volunteer, at a community brainstorm for the youth of Winters. She invited me to a meeting and had a specific project in mind for me. The Friends welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I was home.”
