Our guest speaker will be Georgeanne Brennan, an award-winning food writer, cooking instructor, and author of more than 25 cookbooks, including the James Beard Award-winning The Food and Flavors of Haute Provence, and her bestselling food memoir, A Pig in Provence, about her years raising goats and pigs and making cheese in France in the 1970s.

In the 1980s, Georgeanne (left) and a partner, Charlotte Glenn Kimball, started Le Marché Seeds, a pioneering specialty vegetable seed company that focused on old-fashioned, open-pollinated varieties and became an important source for emerging organic market growers. In 2021, she co-founded L’Apero les Trois aperitifs. She and her work have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, the New York Times, Bon Appétit, Gourmet, the Wall Street Journal, Food and Wine Magazine, InStyle, Vogue, Sunset and many others.
