This year’s Quiz Show, the Winters Friends of the Library trivia-contest fundraiser, is set for Friday evening, February 26th at 7:00 pm at the Community Center.
Teams compete in answering questions from a variety of categories ranging from science and nature to geography, to Winters trivia.
The winning team earns a $200 prize and the team members’ names included on the Quiz Show trophy.
Join a Team
Teams of five may sign up for a cost of $100 at the library before Thursday, February 25th, or at the door on the 26th for $125 per team. Individuals that wish to be part of a team may sign up for $20 per person before the 26
Individuals that wish to be part of a team may sign up for $20 per person before the 26th, or $25 at the door. These individuals will be formed into teams at the event.
What are the questions like?
You may answer questions* like:
- What three states are part of the Delmarva Peninsula?
- What cartoon character was known for saying, “Exit, stage left?”
- Which US President was the shortest?
Practice Sessions
To prepare for the game, WFoL is sponsoring three practice nights using questions from previous years. The practice sessions start this week!
They will be held three Saturdays, at 7 pm at the Berryessa Gap Winery tasting room, at 27260 Hwy 128. The dates are:

Anyone interested in trivia may come to the practice sessions, even if you don’t plan on participating in the fundraiser in February.
Snacks will be provided and wine will be available for purchase.
Save the date, February 26 to either test your team’s trivia knowledge or enjoy refreshments and cheering for the contestants.
